- GREAT MOMENTUM FOR LEDSON MOTORSPORTS TO START OFF 2010

-
As the Ontario karting season kicks into high gear, Ledson Motorsports continues to earn great results, scoring victories and podium finishes at many of the events the team has entered this year. The team has developed some great momentum, and hopes to continue with it through the busy summer portion of the racing season. Ledson Motorsports is also very pleased to add West Side BuggyBath of Orangeville to their list of supporters.
"It's been a great year so far," comments team owner Geordie Ledson. "Both Nick and Cole have earned some awesome results, and I am very happy to add West Side BuggyBath to the side of our karts for the 2010 season."
Nicholas, the older of the two brothers has been on a tear this year so far, with wins at both the Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship (BSRKC) and the Simcoe Kart Club (SKC). After two rounds of the Jr. Medium class in the BSRKC, he has 3 wins, and the championship points lead. In his step up to the very competitive Rotax Junior class, he also has earned a podium result at the BSRKC. In the other half of the BSRKC, Nick earned a stellar third place finish, after qualifying on the pole position. Back at his home club, he has been very consistent, with two victories and a third place to lead the Jr. Heavy class at the SKC.
"I'm having a lot of fun this year. The new Rotax Junior class is very fast and very competitive, and I am enjoying the new challenge," notes Nicholas from his Caledon area home.
For Cole, it's also a new adventure for 2010. He is chasing his brother in the Junior Medium class at the BSRKC. During the opening rounds at Kawartha, he scored a second and third place result in the two races. Also competing in the Jr. Lite class at the SKC, he currently holds onto the fourth spot in the championship.
Echoing what his older brother had to say, Cole is enjoying his 2010 season thus far. "It's been a lot of fun. I get to race against my brother in the BSRKC, and I hope to beat him a few times this year."
Up next for the Ledson Motorsports team will be the double-header event of the BSRKC being held at Point Pelee Karting in Leamington, Ontario. Enzo Chiovitti Jr., the teams driver coach and tuner, will be very busy with five classes on the go for the three-day event.
"I don't know where I would be without all the help the Enzo Jr. has provided me with over the past few years. He has deffinately helped take our team to the next level," continues Geordie Ledson.
